Tim Teichgraeber received his B.A.
from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1990. In
1995 he received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota
Law School and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar. That same
year, he also opened a solo law practice catering to the legal
needs of recording artists, record labels, graphic artists
and small businesses. Tim Teichgraeber was admitted to the
California Bar in 2002 and continues to practice in the areas
of entertainment, contract, copyright, trademark and small
business law.
In addition to his law practice, Tim is also a member of the
Board of Directors of Chank Diesel's seminal font foundry
and web-based distribution business, The
Chank Company. He has presented seminars on recording
agreements for the National Association of Recording Arts
and Sciences, and authored articles on management contracts
and digital music licensing. In his spare time, Tim enjoys
hearing live music and authors a weekly wine column for the
Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Mr. Teichgraeber’s clients
have included numerous recording artists, record labels, producers,
graphic designers, film production companies, web-based and
other small businesses.
